HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving to all Geeks, Nerds, Thinkers, Computer Fanatics and plain weirdos like me.
I wish you all LOTS of Tofurkey ( to your heart stay healthy)
Lets all stop for a moment and remember the First Nations. ( who still in need of help to overcome hundreds of years of persecution, prejudice, exploitation, hate etc)
And lets all be thankful for advanced computing, clustering, e-waste recycling, cloning, steam cell research and specially OUR Families and true friends, who support (almost)all the weirdness we usually come up with...

Back to the proliants again

Well,

Everyone is out for the Thanksgiving, so I kinda have time and space to bring all the machines inside and start again.
My first attempt didn't work as well. I got a myriad of errors...
Any help? Its welcome.
Lets take all apart again...
I really want to make at least 2 of those work.
One will be for files etc, more like a datacenter and the second one will be to host internet stuff like the board I'm making and some games like Soldier of fortune 2, WOW, AOE etc.

FIRST SERVER IS UP

Our first server is up and running, it has 2ghz processor( real speed) and 1536mb of ram on it.
Now I still have to configure it. Since is the first , it is a File server.
Still, it has , FOR NOW, only 2 hdds with 35 gb each, but i'll be installing more 4 hdds on it soon. ( all the hdds are IDE by the way, wish I had scsi)
And it will also host the HCL ( Humboldt Computer Library) board, which still under construction.

HP kayak 6/400

Howdy

Just got a HP kayak 6/400, which was "supposed" to have a 34.6gb scsi hard drive on it.
At first, was very hard to open the case, after struggling with it for a while and reading almost 8 different manuals, the shell was cracked open.
And for my surprise, there was an IDE hdd on it ( a gimpy WD 40 GB) and an inactive 9.1gb 10000rpm scsi too.
Removed the ide, and installed 2 9.1gb scsi on it.
Unfortunately, I'm still getting error message #( cant recall the # now) but it says :

Operational system not found.

The plan was to use it as a server for my new discussion board ( which is coming soon), but guess it will take a bit longer...
Anyways, I am getting some free pc's soon.

Need a PC? Don't have money to buy it? Would like to learn how to build computers? Help me build more computers for other people who cannot afford, and yours IS FREE!!!!
( from available parts. Monitor, keyboard, mouse are also free IF available)

IBM thinkpad iseries 2621 UPDATE

I got a PS in Eureka from a very nice older computer enthusiast.
Installed a 40gb harddrive ( Laptop had a 5gb hdd with OPENSUSE...) with xp professional sp3. Also installed a 802.11g wireless card on it.
Its working flawlessly , but battery does not hold charge.

L7VMM

Got this emachine C1641 loaded with a L7VMM, Kinda nice, could become a great gamer friendly machine.
It has a 2600 AMD XP, 2 256mb ecc pc2100 and a 20gb hdd, dvd/cdrw combo, a second cdrw and floppy.
Can't make monitor work at all.Therefor cannot access bios. It seen like many other people had the same sort of problems with this board.
Will keep trying.
Any ideas?
